What is a soccer ball?

To some it represents the excitement of the beautiful game, for many it is a way of life, while others simply see it as a work of art. I see it as all three. My two passions, the arts and soccer, embody cultures, philosophies, and traditions that have guided and shaped my personality.

I have enthusiastically supported Barcelona Football Club for most of my life, for the single purpose of how the club’s organization operates. Their school, La Masia, focuses on education, limiting soccer practice to only two hours a day. That, accompanied with Johan Cruyff’s momentous philosophy, total football, molded a culture that focuses on rapid thinking and accurate decision-making.

I try to adopt Barcelona’s culture and philosophy while playing soccer as well as in daily life.  For example, the way they train has taught me to take clear & sure steps towards any goal with the intention of always moving forward.  Barcelona is a team that wins because they believe in supporting each other as unit, accepting that they are far greater as a sum of their parts. Working constructively is always the way to go, and I have found that this applies in my life as well.

As for my passion of Art, colors and shapes have fascinated me as for as long as I can remember. My grandmother’s house influenced me greatly as it was heavily decorated by masterpieces created by Mohamed and Effat Nagi; both successful and respected artists in Egypt who were closely related to my grandfather.

I’ve been an artist since my early years. I have a portfolio of art work that I have worked on throughout my life it contains numerous types of drawings and designs.

More importantly, I do not only have the talent or skill of an artist, I also have the persistence to learn new tools and be able to visualize my art on different platforms including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Salvador Dali’s surrealistic work became my only source of inspiration after I discovered his art at the age of eighteen. My passion in art is specifically related to creating and being creative in any form possible. My interests in the subject grow daily, as I continuously strive to create new and innovative artwork to the best of my abilities.

In the world of art and soccer the most important ordeal is maintaining positive “win-win” relationships with the people you encounter daily. With that being said I will infinitely improve the skills needed to maintain healthy relations.

 I am a conscientious and motivated person who loves helping others who have like-minded goals, specifically growing a business that is related to their passion.
